Rotten Island Dwellers

On the weekend of February 24, 2007 I was feeling a little bitter about having to discuss the weather with Mom and Dad now that they have moved to Vancouver Island, so I sent them an e-mail to explain...

Kathys e-mail to Mom and Dad (March 1, 2007): "To all of you island dwellers who wonder why I don't want to talk about the weather, here is a photo of our front yard that I took over the weekend. Now I'm going to go back to staring out the window at the gently falling snow..."

Dads response to my e-mail (March 3, 2007): "Yup! We had a massive fall of snow yesterday - you can see it in this picture! What you can't see is the gently falling snow even though it really is there! Cheers!"

And they wonder why I'm bitter...

On another note: I have since heard from Dad (and had it confirmed by Mom) that it was, in fact, snowing when Dad took his photo, it just didn't show up. By the afternoon however, it had turned to rain.
