dsc02113.jpg I went exploring and found this road up into the mountains west of Chetwynd. I have reached the end of a logging area. dsc02114.jpg Looking back down into the valley that I drove up. The road curves to the left and then crosses the bottom.
dsc02115.jpg Again, you can see the road I came up disappearing into the haze. dsc02116.jpg This is definitely the end of the road.
dsc02117.jpg A small Mountain Ash tree was growing by the road. dsc02118.jpg at the bottom of the valley, I am looking back up at the top of the climb. The highest road is where I was before.
dsc02119.jpg Daisies growing by the road. dsc02120.jpg This stream ran down the valley.
dsc02121.jpg Tall trees around the stream. dsc02122.jpg This was taken looking down into the water falling from the culvert you see below.
dsc02123.jpg Another view. dsc02124.jpg The culvert.
dsc02125.jpg Red on green. This was the only red bush around. dsc02126.jpg A rock outcropping was the bank of the stream.
dsc02127.jpg Looking up at the stacks at the gas plant. dsc02128.jpg The stacks and the plant.
dsc02129.jpg The plant processes sout gas and prepares it for burning. dsc02130.jpg This sulpher stack is a by-product - it is removed from the sour gas.
dsc02131.jpg Note the gantry at the left that is used to spread the sulpher evenly. dsc02132.jpg Another stream.
dsc02133.jpg More water. dsc02134.jpg And more.
dsc02135.jpg Note the sedimentary rock on the farbank.
